I bought this filter from a friend several years ago and used it on the objective of my 6-inch refractor with a Quark on the "back end". Both the filter and the Quark worked very well but I find I enjoy white-light views of the sun more than H-alpha. So I sold the Quark and ordered a Baader Hershel prism. This is a military surplus filter that is the equivalent of a Wratten 25 filter. That means it blocks all wavelengths shorter (more energetic) than about 600nm. When I got the filter, I star tested it to determine how accurate the surface is and I could not tell the difference between a star diffraction pattern with or without the filter in place. I'm not sure how to price this item - similar DayStar filters sell new for about $1,000 with the cell. My guess is the cell is probably worth about $400 which means the filter is about $600. I'm going to ask $400 for my used filter. It is in very good condition but could probably us a light cleaning. The image shows the filter in a cell I made, you will probably have to acquire or make you own. The cell is stopped down to 100mm so I could achieve f30, a Quark requirement. So, make me an offer.
