Some this-and-that left over from fun scope projects with friends. I need to make sure I don't "over hoard" so these need to find new homes...

1) 1989 Celestron (Vixen of Japan) solid aluminum tripod hub for their Firstscope 80 (also known as the Premium 80 and C80) altazimuth mount. It will come with the original underside mounting bolt and washer for the Vixen-sourced (may also work with the newer version from China) altazimuth mount.
The tine mount arms are each 1.42-inches wide, so this hub WILL fit to the larger Vixen wood tripod legs as well as the aluminum tripods by Orion for their SkyView DX mounts, Meade's 395/4500 mounts, and many others.

The center bore on the hub is 0.78-inches inside diameter. Note that the tripod hub has the tripod leg fastening hardware running THROUGH the hub arms rather than the hub arms resting on top of the hardware and then being squeezed to it. This is the far more stable design. $10.00 sold

2) 1990 Towa solid aluminum and steel altazimuth yoke mount for fitting any 60mm and some 70mm refractors. This was a very popular mount for 60mm altaz-branded refractors by Orion, Tasco, Sears, Bushnell, and other Towas direct from Japan.
Tripod hub arms (separate the tines of the upper tripod) are 1.00-inches wide
The width of space between the tines (where the telescope mounts) is 3.16-inches
The balance/micro adjust rod is 17.75-inches long.
Weight in the raw is 14.4-ounces

The hub is of an older design, which I like. Instead of having the hub base rest on the tripod tine hardware, that hardware runs THROUGH the hub itself.
Because of the size of the base hub arms, this mount will fit to ANY small wooden or aluminum tripods made in Japan, Tawian, and China from about 1965 to date. $11.00

Price doesn't include shipping. I will ship to anyone on the planet. If you need more photos, I got more for ya!
