This is a 2005 Celestron EQ-1 mount complete with tripod and tray, which will hold (3) 1.25" and (3) .965" eyepieces. This mount has unusually smooth functions for slow motion and is firm with no droop or wobble when the axis clamps are engaged. It is more often than not that these won't lock securely, but I got quite lucky with this small dude and he has been a great Short Tube 90 and C90 workhorse.
Note that this has the RA worm gear so it can have a motor added. It has one slow motion cable for either RA or Dec, but I don't have both.
Also, this mount has the horizontal swivel feature, so you can rotate the base and lock it rather than pick-up and move the whole tripod; makes for way easier polar alignment.

So the only issue with this mount at any rate is the top ring mount (made of cast aluminum) has broken off on one side (see last photo). Now this was a clean break and I have the missing piece intact, but you'll need to weld this back on or use a very strong epoxy adhesive. You won't be putting more than a 4-pound load on this equatorial mount, so a strong agent is all that is needed.
Aside from this cosmetics are excellent with no dents, major dings, multiple paint chipping, and definitely no rust or heavy chrome pitting. The tripod adjusts and holds exactly as it should and the tray is true.

These are great mounts for scopes like the Tak FS-60C, C90, ETX80, ETX90, Criterion 4000, and Short Tube 80.

Price doesn't include shipping. I will ship to anyone anywhere.
