This is Nikons rarest binoculars ever made. Only two others are known to exist. They are listed in Nikons history archives. Most likely commissioned by a high ranking Nikon executive for their local birding club in Japan. Made from two of Nikons 50mm f/8 telescope tubes (tubes are a very light baby blue color) mated to Nikons marine Tropical binocular prism & eyepiece body. Image quality is slightly better than my Takahashi 22x60 binoculars in the daytime. Also a joy on the night skies when mounted on a tall tripod. Optics and alignment are pristine. Focusing is smooth & precise. Center hinge is firm. Everything is original unrestored condition including the 3 way pivoting cast iron stand. Stand rotates 360 degrees and has about 45 degrees of vertical up & down movement, and pivots left & right about 15 degrees. Weighs 23 lbs. Gorgeous looking instrument that is also a delight to use. I pay shipping in the 48 states. Shipping to other countries is $300. Pickup at my home in Gold Beach, Oregon is also an option. *Interesting trades considered: telescopes, binoculars, guitars, motorcycles, cars, trucks*
