I have my modded/upgraded OMNI XLT 150mm f/5 Reflector up for sale.

I bought this scope to replace a smaller refractor as I was looking for more aperture and less CA because I'm getting more into AP. This scope is excellent for visual and AP work. Very light as it is only a 6" reflector. Being a reflector it shows no CA and even the coma at f/5 is very minimized.

However, I'm getting into AP more and more where I don't need the aperture and I just got a new, smaller refractor which will see more use. I love this scope, but I need other equipment more and I can't justify keeping it.

It's only two months old and it practically brand new and seldom used. I modded and upgraded this reflector with an expensive ($200) low profile Antares 2" dual speed focuser. I also reinforced the area around the entire OTA under the focuser to solidly hold any imaging gear. The Antares focuser has a built in retractable extension and a 1.25" adapter. The dual speed focuser allows for perfect focusing and has a focus lock It is an excellent upgrade to this otherwise great 6" imaging/visual scope. It collimates extremely easy and holds collimation well.

I also made a matching dew/light shield that slides over the open end, but also can be removed and slid over the primary mirror end for storage without taking up any space.

The front half of the OTA is completely flocked inside and the secondary mirror is flocked around the edges and it is extremely black inside now. The dew shield is flocked with the same Scopestuff flocking as the OTA. I added a handle to the rings to make it very easy to carry and mount. I also replaced the stock, recessed secondary adjustment screws with longer ones that allow you to adjust the secondary without an allen wrench.

NOTE: I am not selling my RACI finder. It will come with the stock 6X30 straight-through finder and bracket. It will also come with the focuser adapters to switch between 2" and 1.25" as well as the extensions to go between visual and AP (the low profile focuser allows sufficient backfocus for a camera without the drawtube extending into the OTA like the stock focuser does). I am also not selling the mount obviously.

The only reason I'm selling it is to fund other AP equipment or I'd keep it because it is a great visual/imaging scope and I'm just going in a different direction.

If you have any questions or want more pics, just message me and I'll be happy to provide you with any details you need.

This is what is all included...

Mounting rings and rail
Upgraded to Antares 2", dual speed, adjustable, low profile focuser for visual or AP ($200 upgrade).
Longer, easier to collimate bolts on secondary holder.
Reinforced around OTA, under focuser for more stability with AP gear.
Hard Dew/Light shield that slips off and can be slid on the primary end for storage.
Front half of inside of OTA and secondary mirror edge is flocked (as is the Dew/Light shield) from ScopeStuff.
Stock 6X30 finder and holder.
Celestron 25mm eyepiece.
Handle on rings.
1.25" Chesire collimating eyepiece.

I spent more than what I'm selling it for with the upgrades/mods and it's like new. I easily put $475 into this set up. I'll sell it as is for $375. Buyer pays shipping, but note that the scope does not weigh much and is only 28" long. Shipping only to the lower 48 U.S. States.

Thanks for looking.
