I am offering my Orion 8" f/3.9 Newtonian Astrograph Reflector Telescope for sale, preferably for in-person pickup in the Phoenix area.

The telescope includes the following parts and accessories that came originally with it:

-- OTA with dust cap and pair of tube rings attached
-- 9x50 Finder scope
-- finder scope bracket (including 2 screws)
-- Cooling accelerator fan and battery pack (never assembled or taken out of original box)
-- 1.25" eyepiece holder
-- 2" slip-on adapter, 36mm exptension
-- 2" thread-on adapter, 30mm extension
-- Instruction manual
-- Collimation cap

(I installed and registered the "Starry Night Special Edition" software that came with the telescope, so I can't sell or transfer that.)

Additional accessories I purchased separately:

- Orion LaserMate Deluxe II Telescope Laser Collimator
- Baader MPCC Mark III Multi-Purpose Coma Corrector with instructions
- Orion Padded Telescope bag 44"x11.5"x13.5" (Orion calls this a "case" but "bag" is a more accurate description.)
-- Orion 38mm Q70 Super-Wide Angle 2" Eyepiece (with original box, used exactly once, therefore in as good as new condition)

(The exploded stock picture of the Baader MPCC Mark III on the Orion website shows two extra rings. I have the larger, thinner of the two that has "Baader MPCC Mark III" written on it,
but I can't match the other one to any spacer or adapter ring in my collection. The larger ring plus some spacers is all I needed to connect my SBIG 8300 CCD camera to the Baader.)

I bought this Orion 8" f/3.9 Newtonian astrograph with accessories in October 2016 and used it for a few months. The purchase-new value of these items is $890, I'm offering the package for $450, with no shipping charges included.

There is some light dust on the optics corresponding to normal use, and a few purely cosmetic tape remnants on the tube from taping down cables.

I would prefer local pickup (Phoenix AZ), both due to the size and weight of the OTA, which would make shipping very expensive relative to the value of the telescope, and so that the seller has a chance to personally inspect the items.
