This is a complete coated optical set for a 10" f/18 Schafer-Maksutov Cassegrain scope - all you need is a spider, OTA, mirror cell, focuser, and hefty equatorial mount. And it's cheap.

These optics are similar to those in a Vixen VMC or VC or a TAL Klevtsov-Cassegrain in that they use spherical primary and secondary mirrors with a corrector in front of the secondary to fix the spherical
aberration, which makes it lighter and less prone to dew, and gives it a faster cool-down time than a regular Maksutov or Schmidt as there's no big thick front corrector plate. Also, unlike a conventional Mak, the primary does not need to be oversized.

The Schafer-Maksutov design was invented in the 1980s by optical designer David Schafer. It is not a perfect design by any means, needing accurate collimation and suffering from less-than-perfect images off-axis, but it does function reasonably well for visual use. I would not recommend it for photography, however.

The f/1.9 full-thickness Pyrex primary mirror is almost perfect optically with absolutely no zones or over/undercorrection - a perfect sphere. The primary does have 3 metal supports cemented to it that are nearly impossible for me to remove. The coatings on it are in pretty good shape. The 2" secondary mirror's coatings are of course perfect and the corrector lens(es) is anti-reflection coated.
