This telescope is a prime focus astrograph with an Astrosital primary mirror made by Intermountain Optics, temperature compensating truss structure complete with a coma corrector and CCD camera. The mount is a split horseshoe fork with all roller drives on each axis. The microstepped motors are driven by a ScopeCraft DriveScope system that is compatible with most observatory programs such as TheSky, CCD Commander and ACP through either ASCOM or LX200 command sets.

The optical tube assembly consists of a steel mirror cell with the primary mounted on a 9 point wiffle tree system, carbon fiber truss members, an 8 vane spider that supports the CCD camera, focuser, filter wheel and Paracorr coma corrector. The camera is a ST-7 with CFW-8 filter wheel and V B Rc Ic and Clear filters. The focus system uses a RoboFocus controller driving a stepper motor directly attached to the camera. The entire camera assembly moves on linear bearings.

The mount is a custom split horseshoe precision ground 30" diameter disk that supports the fork and OTA. The split horseshoe rides on two rollers that are driven through an all roller transmission for RA motion. The Dec motion is also provided by an all roller drive system using a 14" precision ground disk. Each axis is driven by a microstepped stepper motor. The motion in RA is 0.261 arc seconds per step and in Dec 0.271 arc seconds per step. The mount nominal latitude is 37 degrees but it can be adjusted +/- 10 degrees with azimuth adjustment of +/- 1.5 degrees for polar alignment.

This is a complete observatory system including the telescope, mount, drive system and computer with software.

As this is a large mount and telescope I would prefer to have it picket up from it's location in Kanab, UT. If shipping is absolutely required there will be a crating and shipping charge.
