This is one of the later ones.... I believe it was a 1973 unit. It has the strap-attachment system like the red-tubed Edmund scopes that soon followed it, rather than simple bolts through the tube.

With my Criterion RV6 I simply don't have a need for this scope. It's amazing optically - I got my best-ever view of Jupiter through it.

The optics are clean and the coatings are fine. There's some minor rust on the legs and pier. The mount is in amazing shape except for a missing portion of one of the setting circles. The drive works. The tube has some marks and things but it's overall in decent shape, and there's no fading. I replaced the original 6x30 with a Telrad.

Due to the size and weight (around 65 lbs) this is going to have to be local pickup only.

$240, or $220 without the Telrad. Will take PayPal, cash, or check.
