This is a museum quality instrument from about 1947. Everything here is original and in great condition. The paint beneath the cradle has a slightly different color because it was more protected over the years. It has some very minor scrapes and scratches but none is serious. Several original eyepieces and accessories come with the scope. An original finder is mounted. All of these are very rare. You can watch my video about this scope here: https://youtu.be/ZibUVUr_E5Y .

One of the legs has a slight warp. It is only a minor cosmetic issue. There is a nearly invisible repair to the cradle. The casting was cracked; probably due to overtightening the nearby bolt. Unless the bolt is overtightened again the repair should hold just fine.
The objective is intact and in great shape. There are no major chips or scratches but there is a very tiny smudge between the lens elements. I don’t recommend any attempt to clean it for such a small defect but that’s up to the new owner. The performance is great. It delivers nearly identical diffraction patterns inside and outside focus with the slight color banding you would expect in a 3 inch f/15.

The eyepieces are not marked but appear to be original. They work fine for what they are but do not expect performance like modern eyepieces. The Image erecting prism has had an internal repair and works fine. The only flaw is a tiny hairline scratch on one surface. The star diagonal is in good shape with no major flaws. The straight-through adapter has a ding to the threads but still fits fine.
