For sale are a pair of dobsonian altitude bearings from a 90's Celestron Starhopper. They are in great shape, but for some marring on the dovetails. They could easily be touched up with paint and would be hardily noticeable. These came off of a 6" dobsonian with an 8" tube, but I fit these against a 12" sonotube I have at my house and they would fit great on a tube of that size as well, maybe larger. The aluminum bearings are 4.5" in diameter with a 5" diameter lip on the outside to prevent the tube from sliding off the base. These are really nice when you have a dobsonian that utilizes lots of accessories or you have a large variance of eyepiece weights. The dovetails are 13" so you can change the pivot point by sliding the bearings until you have perfect balance. No counterweights needed on your OTA. $55 + shipping.
