Rare, vintage Galoc (Gailand Optical Co.) eyepieces; these are in near mint condition, have heavy all metal bodies, and have beautiful clean glass with perfect coatings. Each was constructed with Gailand’s unique take on the design. These are true classic eyepieces, more than forty years old. Originally marketed by the Gailand Optical Company, there are rumors that they were actually made in Japan be Nihon Seiko of Unitron fame. Each with the wonderful Galoc Saturn logo. These were premium eyepieces, advertised in Sky and Telescope back in the day.

16.3mm Galoc Erfle $110.

10.5mm Galoc Ortho $110.

Or $200 for the pair.

The third eyepiece is a very early 32mm Brandon, first advertised in Sky and Telescope in 1947. These were made by Chester Brandon before Don Yeier took over. This one likely dates from the 1950s. The glass is in beautiful shape with no scratches or sleeks. There are some small shallow scratches on the barrel as is expected with an eyepiece of this age. Still, overall condition is very good.

$110 for the Brandon.

Or $300 for all three.

I got these eyepieces for use in my F15 4” refractors and they worked beautifully, providing flat, wide field, pinpoint stars, and contrasty views. Those scopes are now gone and it’s time to let these go too.

An endcap is provided with each.

Buyer to pay $7.50 shipping by USPS Priority Mail (for one or all). Buyer to also pay insurance if desired. Add 3% PayPal fee, otherwise payment by personal check or postal money order
