For sale is a converted Genuine ZEISS Binoviewer with pair of 25mm Orion Epic ED-2 eyepieces to use in telescope with necessary adapters and 1.25" nosepiece. It works great. Works perfect with binoviewer friendly telescopes (like cassegrain & maksutov). Other telescopes either needs optical glass path extenders (expensive) or barlows (changes magnifications).

* The binoviewer is made from genuine ZEISS working microscope binocular head.
* This binoviewer also comes with regular 1.25" telescope eyepiece holders.
* It also comes with pair of 25mm Orion Epic ED-2 eyepieces. These eyepieces are decent eyepieces. They can also be swapped for other brands and focal lengths. Best will be to use upto 15mm. Lower focal length will increase any misalignment. So, best to use a barlow instead of low focal length eyepieces.
* It got 1.25" nosepiece adapter to put in a binoviewer friendly telescope.
* The 1.25" nosepiece can be removed and it got T2 female thread (which can be adjusted using hex screws). This can be used with Baader T2 prism to decrease the glass path.
* Diopter adjustments can be done by 1.25" eyepiece holders. Works perfect.
* Good eye relief.
* Uses pretty high quality beam spliter
* Uses prisms for redirecting the light to eyepieces
* About 22.5mm aperture to the telescope side.
* Collimation is good when testing. But it can be easily done through tiny 3 screws in the side of those eyepieces.
* The T2 adapter can also be screwed and it exposes a M42 female thread (old Pentax M42 standard). Even though M42 and T2 are 42mm, their thread pitch are different. But this can be used to further decreases the glass path by 5mm to 7mm. But not recommended.
* When testing this using my Celestron C6 on Jupiter and Saturn, it image was excellent. But works exceptionally good for planets, double stats.
* The alignment is tested and looks good. But if you face trouble merging images with regular binoculars, these binoviewers are not recommended.

Asking $500 (PayPal). Price includes shipping inside CONUS only. If interested, please send your offers.
