I am selling my AP 130GTX. I purchased the scope new from Astro-Physics in February 2017 and it is optically and mechanically perfect. I used the scope exclusively for visual and it has been spectacular every time I've had it out (probably 25-30 times total). I am also including a set of AP rings for this scope. The rings are slightly scuffed from the dovetail and piggybacking my dew controller.

I strongly prefer a local pickup and am willing to drive 300 miles to meet a purchaser (Chicago, Indianapolis, northern Ohio and all of lower Michigan). I will ship the scope in the U.S., but the buyer will select the shipping method, pay all expenses including insurance and once the scope ships the buyer assumes all risk of damage during shipment. I would ship the scope in its original packaging.

You can see in the photos that there are two small scuffs on the case. They are cosmetic and look worse in the pictures than they are. There is also a small amount of dust on the objective lens that accumulated through normal use in the field. I tried to capture it in the photograph, but the lighting wasn't good enough to pick it up.

Price for the scope is $7500 firm. I am also willing to consider partial trades for a smaller high quality APO refractor. I will accept Paypal (buyer pays 3% fee) cash, money order or certified check.

I also have a half-hitch FTX V2 alt-az mount that I am willing to sell to someone who wants to use this scope visually. The mount is a perfect match for this scope for visual use and easily carries the scope. The FTX's vertical balance design makes it possible to mount the GTX with no friction. When balanced properly, the scope can literally be pushed throughout both the x and y axes with a single finger. Very few FTX mounts were ever made and since Charles Riddel has passed, these are unlikely to ever be made again. This mount is built like a rock and I have the mount with practically all of the options: encoders, dovetail, DSC computer, finder scope bracket, fine-tuning balance and tripod quick release on a Berlebach UNI 24 tripod. Everything is in perfect condition. I am willing to sell the mount and tripod with the scope for an additional $3000. Given the size of the tripod and mount, these will need to be picked up in person.

Thanks for looking.
