I bought this 1946 Bausch & Lomb 7x50 binoculars several years ago from a well respected binocular expert and collector here on CN. These post-WWII binoculars, made just after the War, have all the military improvements and are basically the same as the famed Navy Mark 28 Night Glasses. I just don’t use them much as my skies just aren’t dark enough here at home to take advantage of the 7mm exit pupil and since I got my Zeiss 10x50s they have mostly been sitting on the shelf. They are superb dark-sky sweepers, with a nice heft and grip for great, stable, hand held use. The optics are clear and clean with no scratches, chips, haze and fungus. Collimation is straight-on, and views are sharp, bright, and well contrasted. With the wide exit pupil, ample eye relief, generous i.p. range, they are very comfortable on the eyes. Focus is smooth and easy to adjust. The lenses have a few light cleaning marks and the coatings show a small bit of wear in a couple spots but this is hard to see and images are unaffected. Original case and strap are included. No caps.

The price is $100. Buyer pays shipping ($22.00 USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail anywhere in the US). Please add $3.00 to cover PayPal fee.

Local pickup or nearby meetup is also fine and will save you postage and PayPal if close by.

Thank you for looking.
