Just a beginner's work...

I was sharing with another member just the other day that up until recently I was so pleased with the images I've learned to take and process, yet as of late it has become painfully obvious my work is pitiful compared to those with real telescopes, flatteners, guide scopes and cameras, dedicated cooled BW cams and filters, etc...

I've learned what I feel is a lot yet in reality I know nothing compared to the men and women who have studied this great hobby and passion for decades...

I know we all start the learning process at some point but I wish so I would have bought the fine OTA, Guiding gear, early on... I could easily have afforded it but worried too that my 72 year old age would not be practical even though I'm still in great shape mentally and physically...

I wish I would have found this wonderful Hobby earlier in life...

I now realize I can only go so far with a Nikon Z6II and a Sigma 150-600mm Zoom with it's matching 1.4x teleconverter at 1275mm... Even with it's fine ED glass and it's single proprietary Fluorite element it's still not a fine triplet refractor matched with a fine flattener, etc...

Sounds like a whoa's-me but no, this is just simply some thoughts...
