For this solution, I originally used the original OTA foam that came in its box and put it inside the Celestron OTA soft case.
This worked out just fine until I added the focus motor. With it and my dual scope mount adapters installed, the above solution no longer worked.
So I removed the original OTA foam and used half of the black padded foam inserts that came with the OTA case, leaving me enough room to close the OTA case and still protect the OTA and focus motor.
Being that the OTA soft case alone is no longer 100 % paded, I opted to put it in a hard case. The case I selected had enough room for not only the OTA soft case, but also for my dew shield and my 17" battery powered LCD monitor
