Beginning setup of ME II in my observatory

Still in final stages with split roof observatory build but went ahead and started process of getting the Paramount ME II/OAE onto the 10” diameter bisque 42” ME pier. I had switched from 48” MX pier to ME pier during construction but hadn’t taken time to tweak pier re-leveling until today. It’s almost perfect after adjustment of nuts at pier base. Will just use the ME II micro-levelers now. ME II was definitely a challenge to lift by myself. I’m 6’2” at 245 and used lifting strap around it for safety. Will get the versaplate attached this weekend and plan to mount my PW14.
