Roof opened with M45 in view for another ‘shake-down’ run with PW14/QSI6162 imaging on ME-II/OAE during new moon. View from observatory security camera looking east. The split-roof opens via retraction along n-s direction sliders and walls at 75” on E/W direction so plan out targets above 28-30 degrees. Started session at 10:30pm when M45 is already at 32 degrees (and continuing to rise) and almost directly east at 83 degrees (so clears my adjacent house to NE). M45 is visible at this time for 6-7 hours moving overhead in unobstructed manner from my viewing location.
