The 4x4 gantry beam is cantilevered 14” inside west wall and rests on triple 2x4 at NW corner that were notched down in height to accommodate it. I had increased to double 2x4 on top-plate of north wall when it became ‘load bearing’ in new ROR configuration. Previous configuration was split-roof over East/West walls carried by 4x4 beams connected to sliders. Added multiple Simpson support plates, nail plates and hurricane ties for strong connection to 4x4 and additional cripple block under corner of west wall.
