With roof rolled open (drip edge over west wall) I’ll still have houses and trees obstructing up to 25 degrees. But new ROR profile is expected to be less annoying than my previous split roof (N-S opening). I only had a roof panel installed covering east side of observatory roof (when closed). Other roof panel from old split-roof was still on the ground and a few days from being re-installed in ROR configuration.
