With my ROR retrofit project I added Aleko 900 series mid-span on external face of west wall. I reinforced inside/outside of wall with 2x8 and used cripple block ‘fillers’. Motor is attached to framing with 1/4” sized 3.5” long lag screws. I temporarily ‘zip-tied’ the gear-track rail sections to the 2x4 support to keep suspended while I align and screw. I will notch ‘end’ of west wall of my rolling frame to allow extension of gear track rail by a foot since I’ve mounted motor externally.
