Took this handheld with my Lumix G9 while I was outside the other night. I wish I had a tripod and remote shutter release to help steady it. Oh well... I didn't, so this is what it is
i wanted to see the moon above venus but it was cloudy and what was the telescope you were using because i was wondering if reflectors are better for picture then refractors?
Hi Adriel,
I took this handheld with my Panasonic Lumix G9 and Panasonic-Leica 50-200 f/2.8-4 lens. It is just a single shot. Exposure details are:
200mm, f/4, ISO 800, 0.1".
Regarding your question on reflectors vs refactors... for my deep sky imaging I use an 80mm refractor. Both refractors and reflectors have their pros and cons. Refractors tend to be heavy and expensive, especially as you want to get into the longer focal lengths. However, for wide field imaging, they are my choice. Don't forget... the Hubble Space Telescope uses a reflector design
