Canon 300mm F2.8 lens, about 4.25" aperture. Mounted on EQ6-R PRO via a Losmandy DUP14 universal 14x4 inch mounting plate.. Temporarily mounted via the lens foot bolt, a knurled knob tightening the rear end of the lens foot, one 4 inch clamshell mounting ring just behind the focus ring, and 3/4 velcro band securing the upper end of the lens to the mounting plate as it juts beyond the saddle plate, near the playback ring. This appears stable enough for AP. Later I will upgrade to two rings.
