NGC 2403
8" SCT at F/3.6 (dual reducers)
ASI178mm camera, Gain 300, 6 second exposures (6 minutes total)
Used front Dew bands to keep frost from the corrector and let the OTA equilibrate before viewing for the night. Spent time on polar alignment and focusing for best images (it should be my normal process). Compared to a previous night (NGC7479 is an example or not doing it right) the stars (FWHM) are 30% tighter and this shows in the image.
