IO am just learning how to achieve an HOO image using Sirl to extract H-alpha and O-III from a dual band OSC image. Sirl along with GIMP helped me to produce this result, while not perfect it is at least better than my previous try at doing this. This Rosette image was taken with a Canon 400mm F2.8 lens (about 135mm objective diameter) with a full spectrum Canon 60D and an L-Enhance filter. The 9 day moon was nearby. The imaging date was February 10, 2022. My skies are Bortle 5-6.
