8" SCT with dual reducers at F4 Player One Neptune 178 color camera 450 gain, 15 sec subs, darks, no flats
The owl nebula has been a difficult object for me to view correctly. Something always seems to go wrong trying to capture M97. I had a FWHM and brightness filter while stacking to skip times when the corrector frosted over (multiple times). This is an EAA+ image using only a fraction of the total stacked frames. Just kept on stacking (and rejecting frames) until the frost cleared ... no comment how this was handled during live stacking!!
