My plan is to raise pier height 18” with ‘raised concrete pedestal’. I used coupling and 18” setup stud to extend from original pier bolts. I completed rebar today and placed forms/supports to be ready for pour tomorrow. Not certain that I can position my small mixer inside observatory for easy transfer so may be carrying cement in 5-gal buckets. Plan for finished concrete level about 1” below pier attachment position.
