The Wizard Nebula in Cepheus Sh2-142 (Sharpless catalog) is not normally visible through a telescope without narrowband filters.
I opted for the color palette HSO as opposed to the Hubble palette. The HSO palette uses the hydrogen alpha image as the red color,
the sulphur II filter as the green, and the oxygen III filter as the blue channel. The image is closer to the real color of the nebula as I photographed it.
Tekkies: Telescope: Esprit 100DE, Camera: ToupTek 26mp Sony Imx571 1.8" Aps-c CMOS Sensor, Mount: SkyWatcher eq6-R pro, Astronomik Filters Integration: 20 each of red, green, blue x 60 seconds, HSO filters 50 x 5 minutes.
Total integration time, approximately 5.5 hours.
