This was a test using a cheap svbony 3x barlow and screwing the lens element to the nose of my camera adapter. It yielded about 2.25x and put my scope at just under 1,500 f/11.5. This image is 231 60 second images at ISO600 through a skywtacher 130p-ds and a modded Canon XS riding on a Celestron CG5 Advanced GT. There is a lot of field curvature and I think some CA introduced by the barlow.
