Appearance of M51 in one barrel of Oberwerk BT-82 ED binocular telescope using 24mm eyepiece and PVS-14 L3 white phosphor monocular. This is a rendition of my best recollection of exactly how the galaxy appeared with this apparatus under these conditions. It should give you an idea of what to expect in similar circumstances.
