Update to previous post: Here is the new flat lens filter- a coffee jar lid with the top cut out and some plastic from a document folder fitted inside. Acquired flat (top right, 300 ms/150 gain) captured prior to 500 subs (3 ms/25 gain) and then divided out in Gimp from original and inverted stacked image.
