Tycho is one of my favorite targets for lunar photography. It is one of the youngest large craters on the Moon. Apollo 17 astronauts collected what is thought to be ejecta originating from Tycho. This dates to 108 million years ago. The impact that created Tycho must have been quite a sight to the Early Cretaceous biota of Earth. 12.5" f/5.1 newtonian, Tele Vue 3x barlow, ZWO ASI290mc, UV/Ir blocking filter.
