RCW 113

RCW 113, 60 minutes of integration in SHO with Takahashi FSQ-106ED 106/382 f 3/6 telescope, QHY 600M Pro camera, are 6 shots of which in Ha 2x600 seconds, in OIII 2x600 seconds and in SII 2x600 seconds, processing with Pixinsight and Photoshop. All data and shots were captured with Telescope Live. Gum 55 (also known as RCW 113) is a large emission nebula in the southern constellation Scorpius.
It is observed in the southern part of the constellation, near the border with Regulus; It is part of the Scorpius OB1 system, near the open cluster NGC 6231, located on the Sagittarius Arm, and appears as a fairly large nebula with an arched shape, which can be photographed through a telescope. Its declination is moderately austral and this implies that from the boreal regions its observation is possible only starting from the southernmost temperate regions; From the southern hemisphere, on the other hand, it can be observed for almost every night of the year. The best time to observe it in the evening sky is between the months of May and October.
