Vintage Lafayette 6x30 photo monocular. Probably made in Japan. It focuses by turning the end of the objective which is marked off in feet. The lowest number is 25 which I assume is probably the near focus distance. This doesn't appear to be of particularly high quality, but on the other hand is solidly made. It looks quite a bit like half a pair of Porro binoculars. Anyway, although I wasn't completely enthused about them, I picked them up as they were only $5.
