This is an image of Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS taken at 5:58AM on the morning of October 1, 2024 from my backyard at the New Mexico Astronomy Village near Deming, New Mexico. It was taken with a Canon 60Da DSLR camera on a tripod with a Sigma 50-500mm zoom lens at 50mm. It is a single 15 second exposure at F4.5 and ISO 6400. The tail is very long!
