This is an image of Comet C/2023 A3 taken at 7:52PM MDT on October 12, 2024 from my front yard in the New Mexico Astronomy Village near Deming, New Mexico. It was taken with a Canon 60Da camera with a Sigma 50-500mm zoom lens at 50mm and F4.5. The exposure was 15 seconds at ISO 1600. The camera was on a tracking equatorial mount. The comet was easily visible with the naked eye with a long tail.
