I hadn't captured a Dione transit of Saturn before, so despite the marginal weather forecast I set up under full cloud cover hoping to catch a break. Eventually I got a 30 minute window of clear skies and fair to good seeing. There was no time to check collimation, I just hoped it was close enough from last time.
I managed to get a couple of good images shows Dione's shadow transiting, which I have put together as an animation with (L-R) Titan, Enceladus, Tethys and Rhea close by shown brighter than actual. Overall I'm pretty happy with the result, looking forward to Rhea and its shadow transiting on Monday night which would be another first for me.
