Here is a stylized version of the Rosette nebula taken with my Vespera-classic telescope from my bortle 7 front yard last night with all the light pollution and going for about 2.5 hours. I typically only image from home with a dual narrow-band filter (to help with light-pollution) but when I was out setting up, I realized that I left my dual narrow-band filter inside and since it was so cold I didn't feel like going back inside for it so I just imaged without a filter. I ended up with a very strong gradient across the image. I tried to use GraXpert to minimize the gradient but I didn't like the result. I then just processed the image with the gradient to get this stylized version accenting the colors for this effect. It may not really look like this but at least it is colorful!
