Tonight wasn’t supposed to be clear, but I managed to squeeze in an hour of imaging after the football games. I captured a dozen videos before light clouds moved in, cutting the session short.
I wasn’t expecting much due to predicted upper-atmosphere winds at 9,000m, clocking between 175–200 km/h (the dreaded yellow color on Windy). However, this image turned out better than I anticipated, given the conditions!
The final image is based on five 2-minute videos, each processed, de-rotated, and stacked.
Equipment: ASA 500mm f/15.6 OTA + Sony color sensor.
