Simple and straightforward, my humble telescope has done duty showing off planets and galaxies to passers-by in true John Dobson fashion. I also like to spend some nights alone under the dark skies of Mt. Ranier National Park at the Sunrise viewpoint. After almost twenty years of service, the tube and mount is getting kind of beat up, but the main mirror was recoated two years ago and the views are better than ever.
