I couldn't face the prospect of lugging outside the big 12" Meade SCT on its heavy CGEM eq mount, fighting to get PA, focusing manually and twiddling Bob's knobs by hand. So instead I took an old friend out of its storage box (my C9.25" SCT and Evo mount) and imaged with that.
Seeing was appalling as expected, and only got worse as the night went on. My first capture was the best, shown at captured size.

cause you end up with such amazing planetary images, hopefully I'll get close someday soon, at least on Jupiter since Mars is getting away from us...
