These cables are wired correctly to fit the hand controller for a ZWO AM5 and AM3 telescope mount. These mounts use this type of RJ9 4P4C curly cord with cross-over wiring to connect to their hand controller. The 7-foot cables that I purchased seem about half as long as the original cable. So, if an amateur astronomer wants to duplicate their original cable, they should select something more than 10-12 feet in length.
