Even on the most stable head I own the Bogen 501, a 10-# binocular mounted in the SScradle takes an awful long time to quite down. Vibrations take 8-10 sec to stop. This cradle setup has the azimuth swivel post that allows for left/righ movement. But note the binocular vertical mount post loosening that occured when I tilted right in azimuth.
