IC443 Jellyfish Nebula
The IC443 Jellyfish Nebula is a supernova remnant located about 5,000 light-years from Earth. Scientists believe it was formed by a star exploding into a supernova at least 30,000 years ago. Light is emitted from it due to reactions with surrouding molecular clouds. North is at the bottom.

Guiding: QHY5L-IIM through Orion Deluxe OAG, PHD guiding software
Exposure: Ha:(12) 300 secs @ gain=300, Oiii:(12) 300 secs @ gain=300, RGB: each channel (10) 120 sec @ gain=200
Software: Nebulosity, Pixinsight, NoiseXterminator
Comment: 02-22-2025, Tierra del Sol, CA, good conditions. Palette = HHO (starless) plus RGB for stars.
