My Lunt100MT single stack arrived with this spacer in place. I didn't see any instructions, but when I put the double stack unit behind the single stack unit, this spacer has to be removed. Otherwise focus and contrast were problematic and I did not have enough inward focus to use my Aperatura 0.5x focal reducer on the nosepiece of my camera. The focal reducer is the only way that I could get a whole solar disk image with decent spacing around it using my 15mm blocking filter.
