This arrangement can be configured for seated viewing, but it seems to work better in a standing arrangement.
Finding objects with this Newt is much more difficult without a finder (the angles just make it more of a pain). Observing at high elevations is easier than with my longer refractors on this same mount.

With a finder ... bendy things for viewing high altitude objects is really a pain.
