Once the main 4x4 assembly was created, it was time to confirm fitting and measurements would work for the Losmandy tripod. This was a critical step to insure everything else planned would work. Since this time (not shown yet)
The leveling 1/2 inch ACMI screw holes were bored out, and bottom cutout for the leveling nuts have been chiseled out. It is just waiting to be epoxied in place for final use.
The front wheel assembly has been created. It will have limited, but sufficient turning radius.
A plywood base has been cut to add space for battery power (Jackery) and electronics.
All wood surfaces have been sealed for outdoor use.
Final assembly and cart steering handle should be completed tomorrow.
