M44 has 80 stars to mag 10.0 and 100 stars brighter than mag 10.9.
There are over 200 stars plotted on this chart, 140+ stars plotted within the boundary and 60 more within the 2° square periphery.
This chart reaches to about mag 13.0. Take this chart out with you and circle every star you can see!
I've seen 170 total in an Oberwerk BT100 with 14mm Radians at 44x100 in mag 5.5 sky.

The largest symbol plots stars to mag 8.
The smallest symbol on the chart designates all the stars I have not yet see even with 44x100. These are probably mag 12.5 to 13+
The next smallest symbol represents all the remaining faint stars that were not seen with any binocular smaller than 44x100. These are probably mag 12.0 to 12.5. The original photo is a photocopy from Uranometria 2000.0 that shows 65 stars in this 2° square. All the rest of the stars shown here were field plotted from many binocular observations and corrections. The faintest were confirmed with a C5 scope.
