Tom, what's the story behind this meteorite? It looks to be an exceptional example!

Hi, Jim! It's a traditional Campo meteorite, 39 pounds. I bought it from someone who advertised it on Astromart, about five years ago, at a good market-value price. I'm not really big into meteorites, but always wanted one exceptionally nice specimen for display. This one certainly is that... what one would call "museum-grade" for display. That's why I designed and built the fancy display case. It rotates easily.

The unusual thing about this particular specimen is that it's professionally-certified and even apraised, right down to a mapping if identifying marks and heritage. I've got all that paperwork in a folder, figuring that significantly increases it's value.    Tom
